The use of modern technology underpins our teaching and learning.
Every student in the College is encouraged to use internet ready laptops. Notes are sent to the student’s laptop and assignments are also sent to the students. The laptops are also used for other projects within the school. Many websites are available for students to widen their scope of understanding but the school runs a tightly controlled access to inappropriate websites.
Facilities are also provided within the school compound and the students and teachers can access the internet anywhere within the school learning area.
Some rooms are set aside for e-learning and visual learning. Many class activities, most especially in Sciences and Mathematics are done by electronic means and Preparation is in top gear to write terminal examinations on the computer. This will give students from HAMEC an upper hand NOT ONLY in entrance examinations conducted by most Universities in the country but make them stand out and compete favourably with other students internationally.
One living example of this is our student OLUWADARE AYOMIDE, who passed out from Redeemer University with 1st Class Upper in computer Science and Engineering.
The electronic methods of learning have made the students more conversant with the computer systems and enables the students learn faster.
